Key Sequence: Marcus Nelson capitalized on a Lehigh turnover and took the ball the length of the court, laying it in and drawing a foul. He was able to convert the free throw, putting the Black Knights in control for good, 43-34.

Key Sequence: Willie Morse hit a jumper to cut Colgate’s deficit to 13-10 a few minutes into the game. Starting then, Colgate failed to score their next seven possessions, while American went 5-for-7 from the field in that span, scoring 12 points.
