It was another impressive week for the Patriot League, who went a combined 10-3, with seven of the eight teams recording victories. This included a two-game sweep of the Ivy League on Saturday that gave the Patriot League a 5-4 edge in the season series.

Last week got off to a great start for the Patriot League with three wins, but it soon took a turn for the worse, with nine losses in the week’s final 14 games. While Patriot teams took all three games against Ivy League opponents, they were just 5-9 against non-Ivy opposition.

The week got off to a great start for the Patriot League, with wins in six of the first seven games, but a 4-7 mark on the back end of the week resulted in a much more modest 10-8 combined mark. Two weekends into the season, we’re starting to see some stratification in the league, with the traditional powers at the top, the potential challenger not far behind, and other five teams in roughly the order expected.
