Key Sequence: Lafayette had the ball with 13:53 left in the first half, down 14-9. Bilal Abdullah committed a charge to turn the ball over. McClinton hit a jumper for Miami. Raymond Hicks stole the ball, leading to a McClinton trey. Andrew Brown missed a three-pointer for Lafayette, then Denis Clemente hit a three, capping a 12-0 Miami run that gave them an early 22-9 lead.

Key Sequence: With 19:05 to go in the second half, American had the ball down by 2. Duncan stole the ball and dunked. Paulius Joneliunas missed a shot, leading to Cage hitting 1 of 2 free throws for the Musketeers. After a miss by Lekavicius, Duncan hit a three-pointer to make the score 44-36 and permanently give Xavier the second-half momentum.

Key Sequence: With 2:46 to go in overtime and the Raiders leading 71-70, after a Daniel Waddy turnover, Chuck Harris missed a three-point shot with Canisius down by one point. Bret Wackerly came down with the rebound on the offensive glass to preserve the possession. After passing the ball around the horn, Harris found an open Cory Herring who drained a three, putting Canisius up for good.

Key Sequence: Lehigh had the ball with 3:24 to go in the game, down 55-51. Olivero lost the ball, and Wehye was fouled. He hit 1 of 2 free throws. Down the other way, Bryan White had the ball stolen by Victor Akinyanju, leading to a Wehye basket. For the third time in a row, Lehigh turned the ball over; this time DeMario Anderson converted a transition lay-up to give the Bobcats a 9-point lead with just over 2 minutes to play.

Key sequence: When Drew Housman drove and converted a layup to tie the game at 63-63 with 4:29 left, Tim Clifford put Holy Cross back on top with a bucket on the next possession. After a Crimson turnover, Pat Doherty drilled a huge three-pointer to put the Crusaders up five. Jim Goffredo had a long three-pointer rim out, then Holy Cross big man Alex Vander Baan stepped out and knocked down a three-pointer to stretch the Crusader lead to 71-63 with 2:34 left.
