Key Sequence: With 12:41 left in the first half, Adam Teague scored a jumper to put the Mids on top 12-11 and they never looked back. The Mids defense held the Hawks without a field goal until a Brooks three-pointer at the 1:49 mark made the score 32-20. Before the three-point shot, the Hawks scored only 6 points in nearly 12 minutes, all coming from free throws.

Key Sequence: With 2:36 to play in the first half, Doug Williams hit a lay-up in transition to cut Army’s deficit to 27-25. Andrew Naeve hit a lay-up, and Bell missed the front end of a one-and-one for the Black Knights. Pete Reynolds hit 1 of 2 free throws for Cornell, and after the teams exchanged missed shots in the final minute, Dale stole the ball for the Big Red with 5 seconds left and laid it in as the half expired, giving Cornell a working margin of 7.

Key Sequence: With 2:14 left in the game, Mastropaolo hit a lay-up to reclaim a 1-point lead for the Bison. David Jackson hit two free throws for the Lions, but Griffin hit a three (his first points of the game) to cap an 18-4 Bison run to climb back into the game.

Key Sequence: After a slow start, Lafayette led 3-2 at 16:19 in the first half. The Leopards’ next four possessions featured 3 missed shots and a turnover. Meanwhile, Greene and Pugh hit back-to-back treys, followed by a pair of second-chance lay-ups, and another three by Pugh.

Key Sequence: Loyola had the ball with 7:08 left in the first half, down by 4. Brett Harvey missed a three-pointer, and Ingram hit two free throws on the other side of the court. After a Loyola turnover, Ingram hit a trey to extend the lead to 9. After a three-point play by Josko Alujevic, Ingram hit another three-pointer, and when the Greyhounds missed another shot Arvydas Eitutavicius hit a lay-up in transition to establish a 12-point lead.
