The Dayton Flyers used a huge second half to take down Holy Cross 69-53. Dayton’s bench outscored Holy Cross’s 41-13.

With 17 minutes left in the game, Norman Plummer hit a lay-up to take a 32-30 lead. Dayton would never trail the rest of the game, and they slowly built the lead into double digits. The Flyers’ bench had 28 second-half points.
Norman Plummer led all scorers with 19. Charles Little and Marcus Johnson added 16 and 10 respectively. Keith Simmons led the Crusaders with 15 points, but shot 4-of-11 from the floor, including 0-of-3 from the arc.
