Basketball U. is proud to announce the arrival of Elliot Smilowitz as Patriot League Editor. In that role, Elliot is responsible for overseeing our Patriot League site, including original content and the Wire. He is assembling a team of beat writers to cover all eight programs in the league, with a goal of covering every home game.
A recent graduate of American University, Elliot knows the league well. He grew up watching Big East and Hofstra basketball before discovering the joys of Patriot League hoops. Elliot makes his home in in Washington, DC, where he plies his trade as a journalist.
