Key Sequence: The teams traded the lead several times in the final 1:36, beginning with Arvydas Eitutavicius hitting 3 free throws to give American a 64-63 lead. Darren Mastropaolo was fouled and hit 2 free throws. On the other end, Derrick Mercer was fouled and did the same. With 31 seconds left, Paulius Joneliunas fouled Griffin, who hit a pair of free throws to give Bucknell a 67-66 lead.

With Lehigh’s win Saturday night at American, the league is shaking out very much like it did last year, with the Mountain Hawks, Bucknell and Holy Cross way out in front of the rest of the pack. While those three teams focus on games against each other, the other five squads are fighting for a chance to host a Patriot League Tournament first round game.

Key Sequence: Army tied the game at 38-all with 1:03 remaining. Colgate ran a play for Simon, but his baseline attempt was partially blocked by Bell. Daniels got the offensive rebound, and put home a basket that gave Colgate a 2-point lead with 25 seconds remaining.

Key Sequence: With 3:39 left in the first half, Holy Cross capped off a 14-5 run when Simmons grabbed a missed fast break lay-up and finished with a strong two-handed dunk. This made the lead 33-17 and essentially put the game out of reach.

Key Sequence: With 6:26 to go, Matt Szalachowski and Hall hit back-to-back threes for Lehigh, to bring them from down 44-41 to up 47-44. After trailing for much of the second half, Lehigh led the rest of the way.
