Key Sequence: Down 19-13 in the first half, Navy reeled off a 12-0 run that had a lot to do with pressure and persistence. The Mids grabbed every available rebound in this game stretch (3 offensive and 2 defensive), forced Lafayette into 2 turnovers, and pushed inside, scoring 3 buckets in the paint. This game stretch showed how effective Navy can be when it flawlessly executes its gameplan.

Gamecenter: Bucknell 48, Holy Cross 45

Key Sequence: After Simmons hit 2 free throws to give Holy Cross a 42-39 lead, the Crusaders would not again score until seconds remained in the game. Meanwhile, Bucknell went on a 9-0 run to grab control, highlighted by a three-pointer by Griffin as well as perfect 2-for-2 performances from the free throw line by Darren Mastropaolo and Abe Badmus.

Key Sequence: Navy used a huge early second-half run, capped by a Kina three-pointer with 13:14 left in the game, to stake a 55-38 lead. The Mids’ offensive outburst enabled them to survive Lehigh’s huge comeback attempt.

Gamecenter: Colgate 54, Lafayette 51

Key Sequence: Starting from 4:11 to go in the first half and lasting until the 11:18 mark in the second half, there was a total of 13 minutes in which Lafayette failed to score a field goal. Eleven straight misses were not as hurtful as would be expected for the Leopards; 7-for-10 free throw shooting meant they were able to keep pace, only finding themselves down 40-34 when the drought was over.

Key Sequence: With 13 seconds remaining in regulation, Simmons knocked down a bucket to give Holy Cross a 52-50 lead. But with their backs to the wall, the Black Knights ran a play for Brown, who hit a runner as time expired to tie the game.
