Game of the Week
Bucknell at Holy Cross – Friday, January 12, 7 pm
No surprise here; this rematch of the last two Patriot League Tournament finals is possibly the game of the year.

Can 0-2 teams come back to compete? How about 0-3 teams?

For American, Army and Navy, it was not supposed to start like this.

Gamecenter: Lafayette 71, Colgate 65

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

Key Sequence: The first half has been make or break for both of these team thus far this season. Lafayette is 5-1 when holding a lead going into halftime. Colgate is 0-6 when trailing at the half. All signs pointed to a quick start dooming the Raiders. Lafayette came out red hot, going 5-for-5 from the field. On the other end of the spectrum sat the Raiders, who despite a number of substitutions went 1-for-9 from the floor.

Gamecenter: Lehigh 71, Navy 61

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

Key Sequence: Navy had cut the lead to 61-59 with a Kina three-pointer and had grabbed the rebound off an Olivero miss with 3:36 left in the game. Corey Johnson had an open look at
a three-pointer of his own but missed off the side of the rim. Lehigh then ran the ball down the court and Phil Anderson hit a short jumper to start a 10-2 run that ended the game for Navy.

Gamecenter: Bucknell 66, American 60

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007

Key Sequence: With 2:03 left and American down by 3, Carr stole the ball from Badmus but failed to convert a fast-break lay-up. Darren Mastropaolo got the rebound and was fouled. He missed both free throws, but Travis Lay turned the ball over for the Eagles, leading to a McNaughton lay-up. With American clinging to hope, Brayden Billbe missed a jumper. Bucknell ran down the shot clock until there were 59 seconds left in the game and McNaughton hit another basket, giving Bucknell a 7-point lead.
