Key Sequence: With 5:03 to go in the game, Alex Franklin of Siena stole the ball from Tim Clifford and began a fast break. While driving to the hole for a lay-up, Thomas stepped up and made Franklin change his direction towards the hoop. When Franklin went up for the lay-up,Simmons came from behind and rejected the lay-up into the front row. The score was 52-52 at this point and the momentum was taken away completely from Siena when the Holy Cross crowd went crazy.

Gamecenter: St. Joseph’s 81, Lafayette 73

Key Sequence: Despite being down by double digits for most of the game, Lafayette forced 2 turnovers through full court pressing to go on a 6-0 run in 45 seconds to cut the lead to 76-68 with 1:23 to go. St Joe’s was able to run the clock and keep Lafayette at bay despite closing the gap again to 78-72 with 28 seconds to go.

Gamecenter: Richmond 61, American 50

Key Sequence: With 4:50 left, Richmond led 46-45. Ryan Butler hit two free throws to make it a 3-point game. After Eitutavicius turned it over, Brian Morris hit a trey to double the lead. Eitutavicius came back and hit a three of his own, but Dan Geriot made a three-point play out of a lay-up and a foul, stifling any chance that Eitutavicius’s shot could give the Eagles momentum.

Gamecenter: Cornell 71, Lehigh 90

Key sequence: With Lehigh leading 37-21 at halftime, Cornell came out looking to cut into the league. But the Mountain Hawks increased their lead, claiming a 49-29 advantage on a Jason Mgebroff three-point play early in the second half.

Gamecenter: Holy Cross 62, Hampton 47

Key Sequence: With 9:01 minutes to go in the second half, Simmons stole the ball at half court and was able to convert a fast break lay-up with a foul. After a John Nkoto turnover, Tim Clifford was fouled and converted both free throws. From that point on Holy Cross controlled the game.
