Gamecenter: Canisius 78, Colgate 73 (OT)

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006

Key Sequence: With 2:46 to go in overtime and the Raiders leading 71-70, after a Daniel Waddy turnover, Chuck Harris missed a three-point shot with Canisius down by one point. Bret Wackerly came down with the rebound on the offensive glass to preserve the possession. After passing the ball around the horn, Harris found an open Cory Herring who drained a three, putting Canisius up for good.

Gamecenter: Stony Brook 65, Colgate 59

Saturday, November 11th, 2006

Key sequence: Tim Pounds missed a lay up which would have tied the game with 11:30 left. Stonybrook then scored two on a jumper from Mike Popoko to go up 4. Colgate scored two points on a Vinson shot. Colgate didn’t score again for three minutes. When Colgate finally did score it was due to a technical foul, called when Andre Vanterpool hung on the rim after a two handed jam. Colgate could never seem to recover.
